New Camera and a trip to the Shedd

I got a new camera before I went on a business trip and the first time I used it I was in the Shedd aquarium in Chicago. It is the cannon A620. It does alright. I am still learning how to use it and haven't touched these shots with any programs. These are straight from the camera. Hope you like them. Let me know what you think.

a little play with depth of field. By the end of the day I was starting to figure the camera out. I wish I would have had more time to go back and take more, better shots. Let know how I am doing and can improve.

Me too Plus the reef tank shot is sweet.
It looks like you could've used faster shutter speeds in a few of the shots. Shooting in public aquariums is tough because of low light, thick acryllic and scratches- sometimes you just have to accept grainy pics [high iso's]. Life is full of compromises...
