very nice crocea, you may already know this, but that sand in the middle of it will irritate the heck out of it and havign it in the rocks will prob make it happier.
Yeah, another clam decided to stir up some sand that got on this guy. It blew that sand off itself.
I have them in the sand in case i decide to change my rockwork. I do however place a flat piece of rock just below the surface of the sand so it can attach. I did this with my other crocea and it attached nicely.
Good man - I learned the hard way.. my crocea dug about 5 inches od DSB in my friends tank.. talk about a dangerous removal... nothing like possible sulfur and ripped threads to make my day!
Hey, nice website. Just notice you are in G'ville. You a student? Any chance you have tix to the FL/Tenn, game. I went to UF and will be back in town visiting and am looking for tix.
hey I just graduated last year, but my wife is going to med school here. I'm sorry I don't have tickets this year since she is working 100 hour weeks, and I was never a big fan of going to the games as I amw atching them on TV
Very nice clam! I just got a new maxima as well and used the rock under the sand method. It worked perfect, it is firmly planted right where I want it, thriving and healthy!
thanks. picked it up at the LFS for only $35. looks nicer than it did in the LFS tank. Still gaping some, but hopefully once it has fully settled in it will stop. Seems to be starting to attach to the rock since it has turned some.
