New Clownfish hiding

I just picked up a clown fish the other day and so far it has hid in a little cave in the live rock since he first found it that night.
Of course the cave faces the back of the aquarium and i cant see the little guy.
Have not seen him eat yet but all water chems are good, 0 NH3/NH4, NO3 and NO4 and salinity 1.023 and temp is at 79

Should i be worried or just will he start swimming around on his own.

Also. If he does decide to make that little cave his "home" can i rearrange the rock so that the cave points towards the front. Will this stress the fish?

Thanks,
Michael

I wouldn't worry just yet. It sometimes takes them time to get used to their new surroundings and they all take different times to adjust

Yeah thanks for asking
After the second day the little guy is swimming around. He has decided that the front left corner of the aquarium is his favorite.
To begin with the fish would only eat when food drifted by but as of yesterday he is coming to the top of the tank to eat when i open the hood.

Thanks for all the help guys
Michael

yaaaaaay !!!! it usually takes a few days for some new guys to get comfy in new surroundings. although I just put a flameback in mine and he pretty much told everyone else in the tank where they could and couldnt play. lol....glad he is doing good !
