I am planning on picking up some zoos today, and was just wondering, is a freshwater dip effective without the iodine/flatworm treatment being added?
Also what should you use to adjust the PH of the RO water to 8.2?

I always add some type of dip to my r/o. I don't like to take chances. It's easier to do it now than to try to bring a disaster under control in your tank.

Can't say I have ever adjusted my r/o ph for a short term dip.
