new coral what is this?

i picked this up today it did not have the white like fungus at the pet store till after i put it in the tank, it is a brown button polyp

might be some kind of sponge, it is hard to tell in the pictures.

Zooanthid ....not sure what type tho,,,,,there seems to be many
do a google... and I think they have some kind of chemical that
can do a bit of harm.

Do some research on this softie

i did not dip this coral this is my first and like i said the white stuff was not on at the pet store, i took a turkey baster and blew some of the white stuff, and it was gooey i probably should have not done that

Can you get a macro shot of the circled area? Really hard to ID from these pics.
