New Corals for tank -- Dip, QT, ?

I'm going to be picking up a couple of new coral frags tonight (only my second and third one). I'm not sure how to acclimate them, or if I need to QT or dip them? What do I need to look for as far as hitchhiking nasties?

I don't have my QT set up (though a sponge filter is in my sump right now) right now. I could set it up, but I'd rather not if I can help it. Poor planing, I know.

I'm getting some xenia and green star polyps.

Thanks,
Jason

While you didn't ask for an opinion on the corals, but on aclimation, I'd suggest that you reconsider putting GSP and Xenia in your tank. While basically easy to keep, they'll keep you busy trying to rid yourself of them in a short while if they like your tank. Not to start this whole discussion again on the desirability of GSP and Xenia, because they are really pretty and popular, they're too easy and can rapidly become "tank weeds." If you're prepared to deal with them, go ahead and add them, and so far I haven't bothered to aclimate corals.
