New Corals

I got some new frags today (first corals) I dipped them in Coral RX Pro, and have them in a QT, lights are off and they are opening up nicely. So far there are no creepy critters that I can see. Curious how long they should stay in QT.

Thanks

after dipping, some people put the corals straight into the tank, some people qt them for a couple of days. if you're gonna just observe the coral diseases and bugs two weeks might be enough. but if you're worried about fish parasites attaching the corals, you'll need to qt about 10 weeks.

I got a zoanthid colony that ended up with Zoa Pox within a week of introducing it to the tank. With observation time, I would not have introduced that into my tank. So far, my other Zoas are ok and the infected colony is recovering from a Ho2o dip.
