New corals !

My "fish guy" and friend Dee called me last week to tell me that he had a few "nice things" set aside for me at his new place.

He's in the middle of opening up his new fish store, and hasn't had the grand opening yet, but has had more and more shipments of corals coming in.

So I made the hour and a half drive out to his new store.

Look what I scored !


An Aussie Elegance coral.

He pulled out the shipment papers for me too, to show me that yes, indeed, it IS an Aussie and not an Indo.

What surprised me the most was that these pictures were taken under an hour of me placing it in my tank.

And I got a bi colour frogspawn. Purple and green tips. 7 heads, it's HUGE !

And this really cool rock with three different kinds of Zoo's on it.

I can't thank him enough for his generosity. This is the same guy who donated his time to build my tank, drill it, custom made the sump and all the plumbing, and the custom stand, for my birthday present.

Ya, I'm in LOVE with my Aussie ! Dee also had the other kind of elegance corals there too, the dark green ones. But he knew I'd like this one better. He has good taste !

He had a neon green soft coral there, that I had my eye on. I forget what he called it, but he refused to sell it to me. He said I wasn't ready for it, and niether was my tank. Now that's a good fish guy, knowing that something won't survive and not selling it just to make a profit.

Yeah, that Aussie Elegance is really beautiful! I have been thinking about getting one recently and now seeing yours has me convinced to get one
