new crab

hey all don't know whether to be happy or mad,as I just found a new crab in the tank. I tried to get a pic but all I got is a brown blur. I havent added any rock in a while and I havent noticed any damage so here's hoping he is ok. He is about the color of a penny and about the same size. he has relatively small pincers at the moment If he just doesnt grow into a fish eating machine. Any ideas on the id oh buy the way I dont think his legs were hairy so maybe its a girl lol

Are the claws pointed and black??? If so, its likely a bad crab...

don't remember the color but small and pointed ok if bad whats the best way to catch it as I havent seen it but once

Tracy thinks the claws were clear or whitish

If the tips of his claws are shaped like shovels he may be reef safe, if a crab can be that, if not then try witholding food for one to two days and putting a glass with a piece of shrimp in the bottom at night and watching from a distance when he goes in take him out.
