I was in the right place at the right time and picked these up the other day:

I just want to clarify. It has been brought to my attention that these are not people eater polyps because they are lacking the watermelon body pattern, therefore I am calling them Vampire Palys.

That's really inappropriate. My grandmother just died a few months ago.

I get it, you don't like the naming of zoa morphs.

Ill try this again.

MEANING whatever you decide to call it. (and the name you picked is awsome)
its an awsome find and zoa.

Like i knew about your loss?

im not against the naming of anything. be proud of all your zoas i am the ones with names and the ones with out. I look past the name game and really at the zoa/paly itself.

Any event nice find

Ok, I'm just a little touchy when it comes to grandparents.

I agree that the name game can sometimes get absurd. Usually I don't care that much about my polyps names, but I thought that this one was truly unique and deserved a good name. To me it really looks like a vampire zoanthid.

yeah, I got lucky with these. The lfs had these under junky lighting and no one noticed them.
