Today I got a juvenile dragon wrasse, and the tank I have her in for now has a sad thin sand bed, but enough for my sand shifter starfish to bury itself in.
After dusk when I went to check up on him, I saw the wrasse had wedge himself in a rock overhang just barely off the floor. I'm sure he's sleeping, but I'm concerned that it's not in the sand. I'm also wondering if maybe he's not sleeping, and that he's hiding from my banded coral shrimp?
Can dragon wrasses sleep in places other than sand? If so, is it even good for them?
