hey guys i bought a cannon EOS rebel t2i and am trying to get some help as in getting some of the colors of the corals to pop out . any help would be awesome

I'm afraid that's a very broad and vague question. If you tell us your current technique/methodology and post some examples, we can give you some tips, but short of writing a book on photography, your question is very difficult to answer as stated.

It really doesn't work like that. Shoot in RAW and adjust the WB in post. ISO can be different for different cameras. Mine sucks at higher ISO's, so I never go above 400, but I know nothing about your camera. I also don't understand contrast, unless you mean exposure, which for fish you need a pretty fast shutter to keep the blur down. All this and more are in the stickys above. Read them.

When I take pictures with my T2i I shoot in aperture priority mode (av). Depending on what I'm taking a picture of, I'll set the aperture between 1.8 and 11ish. I set ISO to auto and limit the max to 3200. If I'm taking pics of fish, I'll usually set iso to 4-800 so I can have a 250+ shutter speed.

As mentioned above, you should be shooting in RAW and adjusting white balance afterwards. My tank is pretty bright, so depending on the aperture I chose I also typically set exposure to -1ish.

I am by no means an expert, but here are a few examples of shots with the T2i:
