Hi,

As promised a few months earlier, I'm posting the next installment of videos. I have 2 more underwater videos to go and then I'm done for this trip. Yahoo! It takes an unbelievable amount of time to do these little movies.

This movie is of Nuku Reef - which is a dive site in the Rainbow Reef (which includes Great White Wall, Jack's Place, Jerry's Jelly). Great SPS.

This dive site, The Zoo, is also on the Rainbow Reef. Good SPS at the end of the dive.

This video is of Vuna Chutes at Vuna Reef (southern Taveuni appendage reef). Great shot of a white tip reef shark.

This video is of The Stairs at Vuna Reef.

Cheers,

Wow, thank you for posting these videos. I love looking at anything related to scuba and these are excellent. Thanks again! :bounce1:

Thanks MathU, Pirataj, WarmWaterWuss, and BadGus!

FYI: I just checked on Continental Airlines' web site: you can get a flight to Fiji from LAX for $786 round trip. This is $150 cheaper than the competition, Air Pacific. Continental only leaves for Fiji on Fridays and returns on Sundays. If you try to leave on any day other than these the price goes up dramatically as you're rerouted through Guam.

In the first vid. Can anyone I'd the fish that are swimming with the barracuda, the ones that are clearish with the yellow stripe and the black tip tail fins?. Tia

Thanks gnorman.
Bogg: The fish swimming with the barracuda are wide-band fusiliers. Fusiliers are close relatives of snappers and are only found in the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific. I think they're beautiful fish. The first time I went to Fiji I didn't know what they were - as they're not a part of the aquarium trade. I kept writing in my diving log about these beautiful unknown schooling fish. It was only after I returned and compared my pictures with pictures on the internet that I discovered their name. There are a lot of different types of fusiliers and they're all stunningly beautiful.
