new fish in twos

I am thinking about two last fish to add to my tank. Do you guys think there is any benefit in putting them in together? I'm not talking about the same species here, i havent even decided on the fish yet.
thanks:D

I typically add my fish this way simply becuase that's been the luck of the draw. I don't really notice any difference in behavior when adding multiple fish compared to a single fish.

Would be nice to know what size tank, what fish are already in it, and what two fish you are thinking about adding.

depending on the tank size, tank maturity age, current stock list and new stock.. some times it can be advantagous to add multiple fish at one time because it does spread out the agression against the newcomers from the old residents

Yes, I agree. But I would like to see the answers to Todd's questions.

I often add fish in two's (sometimes 3's or 4's) mainly because I purchase my fish almost exclusively online, and you really eat up your savings, paying for shipping a single fish. Just make sure your tank is well established to handle the increase in bioload.

Thanks guys. Its a 125 and really i'm just thinking through fish combinations. At the mo i have a very low fish load.
Take care and thanks again!
