New fish straight in Hyposalinity after acclimation

I'm treating my whole display in Hyposalinity. Wondering if its possible to put a new fish straight in Hyposalinity tank after slow drip acclimation. Thanks

Most reef fish adapt very quickly to low salinity provided the proper pH is maintained daily. They do need you to take it slow when raising the salinity again. Raise it a couple of points a day.
Don't use hypo on live rock, live sand or any inverts. How are you measuring the salinity? Is your tank cycled?

Thanks! Im using a refractometer with ATC from Marine Depot. I calibrated with distilled water per manufacturer's instruction. Salinity is between 12-13 PPT for about 5 days now. I'll try to maintain the salinity at this level for at least 6 weeks or 4 weeks after the last visible sign of ich. The tank is fully cycled. I left some live rocks inside the tank and added aquaclear filter. There is no invertebrates. I also added some amquel plus if ever I get any ammonia spike from the live rocks. I just both a 55 gallon quarantine tank.
Live aquaria is holding a male scribbled angel for me. I was wondering if its a good idea to introduce it directly to the display tank with hyposalinity since I just started with hyposalinity or i just set up another quarantine tank.

Carefull not to get too low. 12ppt salinity is on the edge. That is a delicate angel so I would not bring it home until the tank is healthy and stable. They can probably handle a low salinity fish (if the pH is checked daily), but not a good idea to expose it to disease or an unstable tank.
