New forum for "let's see..." tank threads...PLEASE?!?

I think that this may have been mentioned before, but I REALLY think there should be a new forum for these "let's see those (insert tank here)!!!" threads... It's really getting old to see these around the forums when others need help or want to show off their newest additions. These threads have absolutely no point, other than to see certain types of tanks. They're not explaining anything, asking for help, showing off a tank, or telling a story. Can we PLEEEEEASE get a separate forum for these threads??? Does anyone else share my sentiment on this??

You mean like "not another 125 build thread" kind of thread in its own forum? Thats what i voted for. In other words, tank build forum?

I like those threads. It's like an encyclopedia full of ideas based under the topic of the thread. If someone sees a tank to their likings, they can ask the person who posted for more details on the tank specs. I often get aquascaping ideas from these threads. I don't think they are pointless, IMO.

I'd actually like to see a tank build forum, and I know some have asked for that, too. I do enjoy those builds, as they're VERY informative!

But my issue is more with people who say "let's see those 75-gallon hex tanks!!". There's no use for them other than to see pretty pictures. There's no request for help, no story, just a want to see pictures. It'd be nice to have these requests for pictures separated into their own forum to make room for those of us with questions, requests for help, stories, etc. I have no problem with these threads other than the fact that they clutter the forums.

well id prefer an area for tank build threads then the "lets see threads" cause the tank build threads would then be all in the same place. full of useful info

whereas the "lets see those BB tanks" type threads dont have muc info so they should stay here and be allowed to disapear to page 900000

I like the idea of a tank build forum. I've followed quite a few and picked up a lot of knowledge on things like plumbing. Having them all together in one area would be great. I wouldn't mind seeing the 'let's see' threads in their own area, but I also think it's fine for them to remain in the general area.
