new frag tank

I finally got my frag tank up and running and have about 50

different types of zoos in it. Problem is I had an immediate

outbrreak of hair algea. Its everywhere and I think it may be

why some of my zoos are no longer opening up. Water

parameters are great but I have some that open every day,

others every couple of days, and some it seems like never open

up. I guess my question is how long can a zoo go without

opening up, is the hair algea affecting them, and should I put

something like a foxface in the frag tank to eat the algea or will

they disturb the zoo's. I already have hermit crabs and snails but

they cant keep up.

You could try Mexican turbo snails they'll fast enough, to my experience which is limited; they don’t have to open in any given amount of time. I had a tank that every thing died and my buttons closed up and shrunk back into the rock... 9 months later they opened up again... So I think they’ll be fine…
