Decided to clan up the fuge a bit this weekend and it seemed like a good time to get some photos.

Thats my rock/flower anemone, its a bit unhappy at the moment. The bowl was full of sand on the bottom, and now I want to get the bowl out. The anemone is attached to the bowl so rather than risk damaging the anemone I dumped the sand and stood the bowl up. Hopefully the anemone will decide to leave, it has allready moved an inch or so. They prefer to have their foot buried in the sand. Here's a pic of it in QT before it buried its foot.

It really looks great! I'm excited to see that you stil have a community of species being maintained in this environment. In a limiting system we would expect just one species to eventually dominate. Are you pruning a lot? Or do you think its just that you're supplementing the system - so no one gets a real advantage and overtakes everyone else?

The cheato is definately dominating. Caulerpa growth is slow and requires very little pruning in this tank. I do have caulerpa in another tank in the system which has been growing faster ( flow through the tanks is on the slow side). I have no doubt that if I wasnt supplementing the caulerpa would be gone. Its amazing how each tank is its own seperate environment even though they are connected.

BTW my Thallasia is doing great, one rhizome continues to throw up new shoots. I cant wait till the rest of the newer plants begin to take off.
