New GBTA owner, quick flow question.

Found some stuff that says these like lower flow, he's suctioned to the left side of the tank with the shrooms. He seems to get very low flow, does he look healthy?
Been in for 2 days, tanks been doing great, under reefbreeder photons, actually turned them down tonight by about 5-7 percent each hour.

It looks to be in very good health. You can see that it's foot hasn't got any damage and the mouth is normal.

They do typically move around for a while until they find a place with the flow and light that suits them. A rock where it can put it's foot into a hole and completely recede into is usually their home of choice.

Mine are about 8" across when out and less than 2" at night. They're directly beneath the brightest light and growing like weeds.

Once it's settled in, 2-3 weeks from now, you might try feeding it mysis once every week or two.

Thank you for the reassuring! I hope he thrives as the rest of my tank has done sofar. I just ordered a wp25 though so I'm sure he will be moving lol.

Anyone else with thoughts or opinions or info is welcome!

I will agree that it looks healthy. Don't expect it to stay where it is though. Both my RBTA and GBTA found the deepest crevices they could before settling in. They also each get fed once a week and they seem really happy. Just keep an eye out when its on the move because it will take out anything that may be in its path until its settled in. Just be prepared to move corals as necessary.

Cover up your pwr heads , I feed mine a variety of foods and go the deli to get the fresh raw sea food

Nice looking green nem

All my corals are left on frag plugs, currently my whole new set is still chillin in the sand. I just hope if he moves he doesn't touch my new montis. He has really really low flow where it's at though and it worried me. I just ordered my pump so will hopefully at least stay there for the time being.
