very nice, mine went from 8 polyps to over 50 in 8 months time, one of my favorite zoas.

I hope mine do I love them. and I see them go for 20 a head online all the time.

I just picked up a few not even a month ago ams it went from two to four big polyps and a few baby bumps ha I may have to take it out of my garden do it doesn't take it over.

They do make a nice display when it is a big colony. Mine are one of my fastest growing palys. IME growth is similiar to pink and golds.

How high up do you place yours? Mine has been growing new heads like crazy but yesterday I moved some things around and some of them closed up when I was done rearranging I put them back in the same spot but as of today 5 or 6 out of 25 or so have not opened are they just stressed from me moving them?

prob just stressed, leave them be. Mine are at the bottom of the tank

Yea I turned my lights down a little and the opened right up. Also turned flow off to let the sand settle from adding rock from my sump I think the sand was irritating them. Everyone is right though about their growth it's been two weeks and I have 10+ new heads 5 of which are the size of a dime

They grow like crazy you will love them! I feed mine either brine music or prime reef every 3 days or so.

Not even a month in and I too am noticing these things grow FAST. I'm going to have to move them to their own rock to take over.

Yea I've had em two and half weeks and have at lease 15 new small heads.

Here is my mini colony. The right side of the rock are the gobstoppers (majority of the polyps on that rock) while the left side are an armor morph. Looking at the photo there are probably 100+ not 50 like I originally said.

very similar to red devils armor, or that's just what they are called around here....mine do the same when they get ****ed off, 1/3 of the polyps will stayed closed for up to a week, but it did go from 3 +baby to about 9-10 now in a cpl months, they have been happy at the middle of my tank and at the bottom, although they stretched a bit at the bottom(LEDs at 85% blue, 50% whites). One of my favorites, enjoy yours.

I do not get why people pay 20 a Head.
That is Insane.
I saw someone pay 400.00 for a 20 Head Frag!
Here in Michigan they sell for 1.00 to 2.00 a Head.
At a Frag Swap I can get that 22 Polyp Frag for 20.00
Heck my LFS only Charges 30.00
So why are people paying 400.00 for the same thing.
Makes no sense.

I completely agree . I paid 75 for about 22 head so roughly 3 a head. But I have seen them online for much more. Now whether or not anyone is buying the overpriced ones I do not know. But if someone is willing to give 20 a head I am more than willing to take it.
