New Green Polyps! (ID and a few questions - with pic)

Hi all,

I got these two branches of green clove polyps yesterday from the LFS for $49 both.

1 - Could someone precisely ID them please? According to some pics seen online at a well-known online retailer, it is maybe Green Starbust polyps (Briareum sp.), correct?

2 - $49: Good deal?

3 - On the picture taken today, they are not fully open yet. Are they slow to open usually?

4 - There is some algae on the lower branch. Should I try to remove it?

5 - Any tip to share about this coral?

Thanks a lot!
Laurent

bad deal lol
unless they were maricultured which they do not apear to be.

green star polyps: very hardy, grow like a matt, fast growing, good coral!

Put them in the sand or some sort of island by themselves or they will spread all over your rockwork, killing other corals on the way and becoming impossible to remove. They're green star polyps not cloves too, most reefers will give it away because it spreads so fast but many online stores and lfs still charge a lot for it.
