I caught these two little cutties today. Little smaller than a quarter and paper thin. Thought I would share before I give them away.

They look like Look downs. What are they exactly? I love baby fish.

Is that the same species as the big ole silver ones? Is that juvie markings and streamers, if so?

I bet they are irresistible at that side... especially a few of them together. Thanks for sharing.

Same fish. They lose the banners and gold color around 6 inches. I still like how the adults look. They are just too aggressive to have with similar sized fish. They are just like any other jack. Meaning they will out eat even a trigger. Think of them as a grouper. Great with sharks though.

Who are you giving them to? Those things get huge! I see them at one of the state's big aquariums, non-stop swimming...

I agree that they like to swim. Not as much at this size though. They tend to hang around structure. His tank is 16 * 6 * 4 feet. It is a really nice tank. He posted his build several years ago.

very cool ,wish they were mine as they are very interesting fish . i have had a couple that were big and they were fun and very interesting looking for sure.
