hi im nine years old my dad has a reef tank that i love i wanna have one its a 90 gal. my favorit fish is yellow tang i like them because there fast and pretty!:rollface: it has hard corals i have a fether duster. i have 13 fish yellow tang, 2 fire fish, 2 clowns, cole tang,blenny, a roal grandma ,5 crowmes and i call them twinglings i have a star fish witch is red and white we call hem mario because hes fast i also have a sea cucumber named Robert my twinglings sleep in are birds nest my biggest clown stays in my father duster. also my dad is setting up a calcium reactor

I too have a 90 gallon, love it, but want to get a bigger tank, always want to go bigger, are you considering a 90 gallon for yourself or is it basically your tank lol, i do think there is too many fish in that tank, not sure how your dad has got 2 tangs in a 90 gallon together with ought fighting.

Good for you! I didn't start till I was 25. I was into reptiles when I was a kid. Still am.
 
So you like horses and fish...what about seahorses? This was my seahorse tank.

Hi mtmmack. I got started when I was about 9 years old too. But I started with freshwater. It was a 55 gallon tank and I had two tiger oscars--- they grew to be huge! At first they would fight all of the time. But, after a few years they laid eggs together but they never hatched. You have a very smart dad for teaching you about marine life at such an early age. It will help you when you are in high school. Maybe you can even grow up to be a Marine Biologist. What a fun job that would be!

Fun to see kids getting involved in the hobby so young. I wish I would have had a tank when I was 9. My dad made me get a dog.

So has dad taught you how to do water changes yet? What about scraping the algae off the glass?

Maybe I need to rethink the not having kid thing.

So not so tall reefer, what's your favorite coral?
