New LED Lights For My Nano Reef

I am happy to say that I have added two Ecoxotic 453 blue Panorama models (1st generation) to my 35 G nano tank. I had to ask my fiend in SoCal to pick them up for me. They were a good deal at $40 each. I did not think they would put out enough light, but I am happy to say they are working great! These Exoxotic Panorama modules are rated at 12 watts. Each Gen 1 Panorama module has its own power supply. These lights replaced my Cadlights (non-dimmable) LED. I believe that the Cadlights LED may have been too much light for most of my corals. I am now an Ecoxotic fan.

My original thought was to use them in another nano tank build. I have a Red Sea Max with an InTank media basket. In addition I have acquired the InTank media basket, refugium, and an Aqua Medic 115 protein skimmer to upgrade a BioCube 29. The Ecoxotic panorama modules are small which makes them attractive for retrofitting a nano tank with LEDs. I might have to buy more.

jellyfish check out my light setup pic in Newbie tank tour I will be adding another led module but leaving the t5ho bulbs but going with 2 ati purple pluses to make the colors really pop. I can also grow anything I want in my tank
