* Dimensions: 8” x 9.5” x 2.5”H (20.32 x 24.13 x 6.35cm)

And here it is:

And here it is mounted flush in the top of a canopy. This is very nice. The heat can just rise straight up off the sink without any fans. No fans = no more fan noise. :)

Looks really cool, literally, until I saw the price!!!

Some people spend more than that with metal halides if you consider the purchase of the halide light setup and 3 or 4 bulb changes. That would be if you were considering new equipment. I bet you would also go through a ballast in that amount of time also. Something to consider. After I get the dive equipment I want I will switch over to LED.

I have all of my diving equipment and have all my MH. I usually purchase the MH used. I have had the same MH and ballast for almost 6 years now. Of course there have been several bulb changes in that period of time. LOL. Still need to get the part for my Aquamed 250 MH with the built in ballast. It will flicker but not fire up. I plan to use this on the 60 uniquarium. Nick is thinking of using LED's on his new treasure chest set up he got from Bill. I am really glad Nick (my son, who got me into this hobby and bailed out a couple of years ago) is getting back into reefing.

I don't know what size nano he has, but he might be able to get by with a panorama module and a stunner for dusk/dawn.

It's good to hear he is back in the hobby.
