Would be great if it did. The power consumption and lack of heat would be wonderful....still I have to wonder if they will truly be the same thing as a MH bulb as far as all the postive effects you get or not. As a sort of asside, what is the reason why we don't use Halogen bulbs..is it a spectrum thing or what?
