i just put a new light on my 90 gal tank, it has 2, 175 watt 10k MH bulbs and 2, 65 watt PC bulbs i want to make this a clam only tank, is this lighting good enough ?

I think so, maybe you can build a plateu or a higher ground with rocks for the more light demanding ones like maxima and crocea, and you can keep everything else on the sand bed. I have always wanted to do a clam only tank, how many clams of what species are you planning to collect?

I would say your wasting space, a 90g is too deep for a clam tank(assuming the footprint is 48lx18w) I'd go with the 400watt MHx2 with 2ea 96watt Power compacts, if you have to use the 90g . Using those 175's, you'll have to set any corceas or maxima's so high up you won't really be using the bottom 90% of the tank. Just MO. Go big,so you won't have to re-buy later.

I don't think it would be my first choiceof a tank for a clam tank, but it should be fine. I would do some research, read Daniel Knops' book on giant clams. Its an excellent reference to have anyway. Goodluck
