Well the Ballasts got here today, hope the light gets here monday. Nice clean boxes, Digital Electronic, should be interesting.

So was I, want to use them to color up the frags too. Should have seen the look on my face when the UPS guy walks up with a little 18" x 12" x 8" box and says that all there is.

The Geisman 48" Infinity
Its been a wild ride getting it to Tucson. First I recieved the Ballasts a few weeks ago, no light. Then the light got here Friday, T-5's are beautiful, MH no worky. Some how they got picked off the return pile, bad MH ballasts. Now I have a Cool looking light hanging over the old light till the new ballasts get here from Germany, by Friday I hope.
The cool part is the Halides can slide back and forth about 6" and has mirrors on both sides to fill the gap. This way you can adjust them where you want the light, such as avoiding the cross braces

another cool feature, no fans, less noise in living room. Yea, Phil felt bad and is great to work with, he's sending the ballast express, no questions asked. It will be worth the wait. I wanted something special but it was scarey, no one has one or ever saw one in person. I've used Geisman MH and T-5's, but never on a Geisman ballast, so having a ballast tuned to the MH will be cool. If you ever drop by you will be amazed at the way they put the fixture together and the mirrors are fantastic.

I've got a Tracking Number!!!!! The ballasts left Dusseldorf, Germany today, in transit to Tucson, Arizona. At least now I know for real they are on the way.

Geisman sent the Megachrome 250's with it (about 21K) and 4 diff T-5's, Pure Actenic, Actenic +, Midday and a wierd one. At first it didn't make sense that they would send a FreshWater T-5 for a reef tank but then I remembered why. I use the AquaFlora on my Discus tank, it's for plant growth, it has a high red spike. They must have brought it to bring out the reds.

Great color, fish are in shock from the brightness. Only one problem, now I can see how bad my tank looks. It was worth the hassle getting this light and yes that Freshwater T-5 does bring out the reds.
