I bought an Aguatinics Constellation last night and installed it today. It is a 54 watt 7 bulb T5 with 3 ATI Aguablue Specials, and 4 ATI Blue Plus. My old fixture was a Coralife with 2 Iwasaki 15000K 175w mogul base halides and 2 96w actinic power compacts. My tank is a 125g SPS dominant tank that is 2' deep.
My question is how should I go about acclimating my corals to the new light or should they be good to go on a normal light schedule?
Question 2: Should I notice better color and growth under this new light system if everything else is in check compared to my old lighting system?
