New local Reefer here saying hello...

Hey guys, My name is Eddy and I live in miami. I am building a 72 bow reef tank and I would love to join your club but i think from reading your site your meetings are normally in broward and thats way too far from me since I'm in Kendall. Also, I have a 10 month old girl that I care for when I'm off on Tuesdays when mommy is working so taking here to local meetings may be a challenge. Either way I still wanna try to get involved and get to know some of you guys. I saw that there is a meeting at the seaquarium this tuesday and was debating going and joining but I am going to Orlando that evening so it will be a mission but I am still debating.

I could also use your advice/feedback on my build thread if you happen to wander over there since this whole reef keeping thing is totally new to me.

I have always lived in Miami and am an avid fisherman and a family guy.

Thanks for all the kind welcomes...I should be putting up the tank in a month or less (still need a few parts) and I could sure use some expert knowledge and assistance. If anyone is local (kendall/Miller RD area) and wouldn't mind hanging out one afternoon doing the setup let me know. I'll also have a buddy of mine helping me out but we are both novices and could sure use a knowledgeable hand (he has a 29 cube that he should have running by next week). I'm gonna try to make the meeting if possible at the seaquarium on tuesday(can i sign up for the club there??)

I am in Lake Worth way north ( but not the furthest north) Yep you can sign up when you get there.

Welcome, I am also in Kendall and go to almost every meeting the drive is actually not that bad for us since for the most part we avoid the heavy traffic. If you need help with anything let me know.
