Hello everyone, my name is Scott and I am new to the hobby and to this group. i signed up for the SLASH membership at the frag swap at the Oakville Elks. I have received a password yet for the SLASH webpage. I have checked my junk box and didn't see it. However, it's possible that I overlooked it there. Can anyone help me gain access to the webpage?

try the lost password link with the email address you signed up with. If that does not work, let us know. What was your requested user name? Most of the time it is misinterpreting handwriting. PM me your email address if the link below does not get you in.

When I tried to PM you, it said I am not allowed until I have ten posts. I don't remember if I supplied a username at the table when I signed up. I only remember supplying my email address on the form I filled out. I tried to sign up on the website, but it prompts that the registration has been disabled by the administrator.

I overlooked the part of the email I received from the forgot password link where it gives my username. I am good to go now. Thanks for your help.

Just a side note. A club is what the membership makes of it. I definitely like seeing new blood around. We are not as crazy :wildone:as some people say. LOL Just don't be shy and make sure to ask a lot of questions. Get involved. With 100% volunteer effort sometimes you gotta use 100% sarcasm to get some of us motivated. Ain't that right D'Smack? :headwally:

I am not sure what you mean by sarcasm. [emoji6]

Since I am new to the forum I will introduce myself. My name is Scott and I am still an enthusiastic noob to saltwater. I have posted several questions on other forums and just recently became a member of RC. So far my biggest challenges are being patient, and stop buying stuff for my 29BC that isn't needed. I bought a used 29BC and immediately replaced the lighting with a 5 channel full spectrum LED chip. I used a CPU heat sink and have it in the original hood of the 29BC. I use a coralux storm controller for my LED. Like many others, I have the intank media basket and fuge. I also use the MJ 1200 and a jeabo w4. I made a DIY compact fluorescent light for my fuge that are on opposite of my tank lights. I run GFO and carbon, but I recently bought a container of chemipure elite and a bottle of purigen. My tank is mostly softy with one Monti Cap. I have a frogspawn, green button polyp, two variations of GSP and toxic zoas and the weeds known as pulsing zeena. I also bought more coral from the frag swap at the elks. There i bought 1 Acan Lord, 1 plate coral, Rasta zoas, Gatorade zoas, mixed colony of polyps, and a metal Rhodactis mushroom.

As far as fish I have two clowns and a royal gramma. I am looking at a goby/shrimp pair.

My plan is to buy a frag tank and start sharing the wealth with others. I also have a freshwater 115 gallon tank at my dads waiting for me to drill it and make it salt water.

Looks really good Scott. I hope to meat you in person at one of the three pizza nights coming up.

I will have a difficult time making a pizza night on weekdays. I work the evening shift Monday through Friday. But sometimes I work days for training so there is a chance I will have the opportunity to make a few. I know I want to attend one.
