Hey everyone! I’m fairly new to the hobby and new on here. I have a RedSea 750xxl. Currently my tank will be running fallow as I had rinsed my rock with freshwater (big mistake, didn’t think it through) and had an ammonia issue which killed a lot of my fish. Right now I’m going to run my tank fallow, a member here posted an article of humblefish and new fallow period in which you can run your tank fallow with elevated temp (86 F) and shorten the fallow period to 2 weeks. I’m going to try it. I have some more bottled bacteria which I’ll be dosing to the DT after a WC. I have some new fish in QT at my LFS, which I’ll be getting in 2 weeks so perfect time to run the tank fallow. I’ve always referenced you guys so I thought why not finally join in on the fun!
