New MH Light

Well just got my new MH yesterday. I got it mounted to the ceiling above the nano its about 17 inces above the tank so I don't fry my corals. Got home today all my corals are open and looking great. I thought the light would heat up the tank more but I really haven't seen a increse in water temp. Maybe thats because I have it so high above the tank.

It is a Ocean Light HQI MH Pendant Light. It came with a ballast box and a 150W 10,000 aqualine bulb.

Now I'm saving money for the frag swap. I bought this light so I could get some SPS. So hopefully some of you guys will have some for sale.

Nice light man, only thing i suggest would be is to get the ballast off the floor, just in case your sloppy like me and flood the living room every cpl of weeks.

I run 2 of the ocean light 250 watt HQI pendants over my 120. I really like them.

Looks nice. An orange cap would give good contrast against the green star polyps
