I just bought this mushroom 2 days ago and it came attached to a thin plastic piece instead of a frag plug. I trimmed the plastic close to the base of the coral and glued the plastic to a piece of rubble. Should I have taken it off the plastic before gluing it?
Also will this thing take over the tank? It has opened up to twice the size it was two days ago at the lfs. This picture should be rotated 90 degrees clockwise. Not sure why it turned on me. You can see the plastic piece below the coral.
