New Order Received

Well after my first order, (135lbs of LR) I was very dissapointed, I had a large amount of rubble, which I WAS credited for, good customer service, but there was basically no color at all to the LR received even though it was supposed to be premium, no algae regular or corraline and no hitchhikers whatsoever just to prove how dead the rock was...

But, I tried again based on the good reviews I see from everyone else. I received today a mated pair of Black Occelaris, 2 cleaner shrimp, and a tuxedo urchin.

All of the animals were in excellent condition, after acclimation, the clowns and cleaner shrimp immediately ate when the tank was fed, there was absolutely zero hesitation, which is of course very reassuring.

The bagging and shipping materials was all very secure, and the bags kept cool even in the FL heat.

The mated pair recognized eachother from the seperate bags the moment their bags came out of the styrofoam and began floating in the water. They were frantic to get to one another during that process and havent left eachothers sides since they went in the tank.

I am thrilled with this purchase, you guys definently won me over.

alrighty, I said some of that sooner than I should have... Only the larger of the pair is eating,

you lknow how sometiems fish swim up against the glass figuring out boundaries when they first go in, the larger one will leave the glass and eat, but the smaller one does not. He does react when food goes in the water, and he goes into a sort of panic for food, but he can't seem to turn around and stop swimming into the glass... Is that a stress thing?

Cheekmonkey,

We apologize for the disappointment with your live rock order and we are very glad to have resolved the issue.

We are delighted to hear that your first impression of your fish order was positive. We are very appreciative of your faith that we will make things right for our customers.

Your Clown fish does sound as though it is stressed, which may explain why he is swimming into the glass. Clowns do enjoy a moderate stream/water flow and it may be that he is in an area that is providing comfort in his new environment.

Our recommendation is to leave the lights off in your tank for another 24 hours and be watchful to not disturb the tank. This will alleviate stress in the tank.

Please keep us updated and let us know if there is anything we can do to assist.

Well this afternoon the smaller one took food, and atehy are occasionally oleaveing the glass even though the smaller one has some attraction to it...

The older one took food as usual again, and the smaller one swam around frantic through the food obviously hungry but not taking it... He would only eat pieces that came out of the mouth of the larger one :)
