My new pair (only fish in a 120) seemed to have decided to adopted the upper corner of the tank as their "enclave". They seldom venture beyond that bastion.
Is this a normal behavior? There are plently of "caves" and the like in the rock.
Tank raised? Normal behavior, especially for percs, which are considered "Top-tank swimmers" in comparison to ocellaris, which are "mid tank swimmers". This does not mean that is the only place, just a broad generalization.
