Been a while, I've been ignoring my tank as much as you can but it's still doing great. I'm convinced that if you find the right balance of Alk & Ca, and do a few water changes in between, all will be fine.

Anyway, I took a bunch of top down shots last night and I just figured out what to do with them. They were all taken in RAW mode on my Canon, not sure how that happened, I' m thinking my kid was playing with the camera. So what I have seemed to have come out pretty well.

Here is an Nana growing sideways out of the cap, I think it has colored up better this way,

Here is the nana colony it came from, I didnt mess with any colors here, looks too blue to me, it's really more purple, this RAW thing is kind of new to me.

Here is a real Blue Millie, much different than the other Blue Millie that I have, that is far from blue, brown maybe but not blue. This has grown very will from a single stick that I bought from Trop a bunch of months back, coming out nice.

For now, here is the last one, a Blue Tort I got from Austin at Trop a few months back. The color is coming out real well, I switched back to my 14k's a couple months back and I think it makes a difference. Not that 10k is bad, I miss it for other aspects of the tank, but it does add nice color to certain things. My Efflo, Green Millie, Green Slimer, Orange Cap, Geen Cap, Blue tip stag, and unknown red acro are all in the pic also.

Thats it for now, more to come.

No FTS right now, but here's some more.

Acro Frag, not really sure what it is, I've got a couple of them. I've got the colony about 1 inch from the top of the water. Gets some decent color up there.

Another Acro Colony, nothing special.

Here is a Dr. Mac frag from a gift card I won at the holiday party a year ago. Grows very slowly, but is coloring up. Hard to see it in this shot, but it looks nice.
If you havent noticed, I have completly run out of space, this frag is balanced on top of the millie and nana.

Efflo Frag, I have a couple of them. they were fragged about a full year ago, very healthy. I will sell them - very reasonable I think - $20.

Here is the Green Slimer, got lots of this, $10 frags available.

And lastly - here is the tricolor, still one of my nicest pieces.

Thats it -
I've really got to make room in my tank, Got lots of frags of most of this sttuff, I cannot frag the Tort, Tricolor, or the Dr. Mac frag, but anything else is available.

I give large frags of Monti Caps for $10. Most frags would be $10, large acros might be $15 or $20.

Got Mushrooms, a small Leather, and Kenya Tree I think. Also lots of pieces of Green Pocillipora - the stuff looks great, but it grows on everything. I've got loads of easy to care for Digitata mostly the brown with purple tips, some green. Lots of Monti Elkhorn also.
Did I mention Caps - Please come get some:)

Thanks

I'd like to get a piece of that eflo. We need to hook up somehow. Think you'll be making a meeting any time soon?

Besides the color factor what are the differences in the 10-20K bulbs? (considering moving up to MH from my crappy PCs)

Well I'm sure most would agree that 10k will induce faster growth. In my opinion, with the new growth comes color as growing corals are usually healthy.
On the other hand, if you change to a higer bulb, 14k or 20k, those same colors may look better. Is it simply because the light makes them look better or is the coral responding differently to the light...not sure. More than anything else, I think it's just a preference. BTW, the grass is always greener thing applies here, if you have 14k and see a 10k, you will want them, and the other way around. I have both, so when I get tired after about 6 months, I change them. Works for me.

Looks like a couple of people want efflo, I think I have 3 of them.
You know Tropiquarium always has efflo frags, they look very nice, not much color, but then neither do mine, I'm not sure of the price of theirs. The best thing about mine, is I fragged these pieces a good 7 or 8 months ago, they all went through some shock back then, but have all recovered very well.

Anyway, I'm in Fair Haven, close to Red Bank exit 109 on GSP. Weekends are best for me.

Just trying to drum up business by posting up some old photos. The tank was looking pretty good earlier this year.

I still have 2 of the purple Nana Colonies. If the colors were still what they are here, I'm sure they would be easier to sell, but they are not. This just shows what they could be.

I've got one Efflo Frag left -

The Valida Tri Color is still here.

I have Two Blue Millie Colonies -

Thanks
