new pics of the arrivals good news and bad

hey guys i just got in my 2 maxima clams from live aquaria. one opened up fully and is beautiful than ever and he is sitting next to the one that i have had in my tank. the other one is not looking too good. after i aclimated him i took a look and examed him. he was kinda cracked open. so i was going to c if he was dead by gently pulling it apart but wen i touched him he closed up. i put him in the tank and left the lights off for 3 hrs and the healthy opened up and is responding extremely well to shadows, while this one is not doing n e thing. he also looks very gaped. n e ways here are some pics

this is the bad one

there is nothing you can do really besides keeping your water quality top notch. juvi maxima clams are very sensitive and will die with very little warning.

yea it sucks because when i ordered the 2 i was pumped to add to my little collection as these are the last 2 things i a going to be stocking my tank with. but o well ill c if it pulls through and if in a week or so if it dosent look good ill call and get my refund

i'm keeping my fingers crossed, i would send the pic to LA now just so they can't say he arrived fine and went downhill in the tank.

let us know how he does :)

they look perfectly fine to me. I'd leave well enough alone.....especially with those mini maximas.

unfourtenely the one in the first pic did not make it i am was pretty sad but o well i couldnt have done n e thing diffrent. they have refunded my money to my credit card. its a bummer though but hey stuff happens. i might get a new one to replace it but idk. hey it could have been worse they could have both been dead. o wells =-[
