I didn't have a pufferfish when I used the ' chopstick strategy '.

If you feed the puffer to the gills so to speak, he'll probably leave it alone. Maybe not though.

Good luck!

Ha, you have a puffer. What do you think the chances of that are? :p I swear mine would eat until he pops! Although he has eaten so much before he just laid in a corner. You could just see him saying "Ohhhh, why did I eat sooo much". I guess that may be why I like him so much, I can relate. :)

I have got figure out something. Maybe I will QT the puffer for a few days? Oh he'll love that.

Very nice, beautiful fish, you've done a good job :)

Thanks ! I appreciate the compliment !

It is pretty strange that we have pretty much the same aquarium denizens, we must have similar tastes.

I would say that putting your pufferfish in Quarantine for a while would be a good idea, and definitely worth the work. Your lionfishes will be healthier, have bolder colors, and probably live longer if you switch them over to a 'seafood diet.'

My pufferfish is voracious too ! I recently ordered 200 Illysia Snails and he's been dining on them like a little piggy .... that's why I got 200. :)
