On Wednesday January 12th I had recived a donation to our high school aquarium that is in Lompoc California and anyone is encouraged to visit our website at CabrilloHighAquarium.org. This donation was a shippment of 6 Hippocampus erectus aka Lined seahorses from Peka's ponys and they were truly amazing. I have a continuously and never ending growing seahorse and pipefish exhibits that continue to amaze anyone who comes to visit during a tour and during our monthly open houses. This donation had come at a time that it couldnt have been needed more! Over the last couple months and due to a lack of experiance on others when I was out of town had sent my projects into a spiral down hard. When I had come back the project had crashed and I knew that to recover it would take some hard work and alot of effort. So I generously applaud Beth, the breeder and owner of numerous seahorses, that came to the rescue and generously helped me work the whole thing out. The seahorses were about 4-6 months old and were great! They were already eating frozen mysis which in it self is a extreamly hard to get picky seahorses to get used to eating frozen food. They were very healthy looking and are working out great in the display tank...So thank you beth for this great oppertunity, And anyone interested in getting seahorses or looking to start a new seahorse tank I would recomend talking to her, she has great advice and has helped me to find a better ways to things that I have done.
