New Poster

So, are we having name tags here, or what? At the meeting? I'm coming with my parents, but I won't know who is who.

Also, i'm going to be looking for some nice zoas. Anyone have any?

Brock it's better you don't know there names LOL.

No seriously, we never realy did the name tag thing and yes there will be lots of zoas there.

As for your social experiment bginners, try to remember you are a part of society no matter how hard you try to alienate yourself from it. As such you should prob try to get along with as many people that you can find that have any essence of a common ground interest with you. In other words, lay off the purposeful name calling and drawing out.

DO NOT let me see you using the "*****" or the "%#%$#" thing again on this board. We just simply call people banana heads when we dont agree around here and that gets the message across quite well without offending anyone.

And before you think of using some of your "superior intellect" to shoot down anything I said here, I suggest you think twice about responding to it HERE and just stick to "Bump" or ">" nothing more. We will talk about this later.

To clear this up a bit I told Shane to make sure the CVRC poster resides in the top 5 area of this board till the meet day which he did, so we can at least get a bit of advertisement out on this. I don't think anything else would qualify as being more important than the poster and meet date.

Also I hope some of you did take the time to print off the poster and post it in your area as that was the entire purpose of this thread. We don't get free printing anymore and I know that that has caused us some serious publicity issues and affected turnouts greatly the past several meets

What is the limit to what we can bring? My step-dad has a lunar wrasse he needs to find a home for, and I have macro growing out my wazoo. If i'm allowed, Iwill bring the macroto trade for other macro. I'm setting up a new seahorse tank (for H. breviceps) and need some live rock, and macro to fill it up a little.

If anyone has any macro to trade, please LMK. I have caulerpa prolifera, chaeto, ect.

What should I bring my goodies in? A cooler? I just walk in with a cooler lol?

Coming from Parkersburg you should definately use a cooler, and yes just walk in with it everyone else does. LOL

You can also use the styrofoam shipping boxes, some of us use those too. Either will be fine. But you will want one or the other for transporting your trade / sell items to the meet as well as transporting your new stuff home. It is less stress if the tempts are kept as constant as possible.

So I can bring macro? Will anyone want some? I'm looking for macros that I don't have so i'll want to trade. I'm bringing my birthday money to get me some nice zoas...:D

Brock

I will be bringing macro-algae, chaeto primarily, and some halmedia. I also have a bi-color blenny if anyone is interested. I may bring it.

So I just bring my corals, and people will just ask to see them? How do they know what they look like when they are closed? This is confusing lol.
