New protein skimmer not bubbling.

So I just set up my new skimmer and it isn't producing bubbles. Is this just because it has to break in or should it be producing bubbles at this point?

Can you post a picture and a little more information about your set up?

Well here are two pics of the chamber. It bubbles when I play with the valve but when the valve stops moving the bubbles stop coming.

It may look like there are bubbles in the chamber but my water is just cloudy cause I just put the sand in last night.

Btw it's a 55 gallon with the coralife super skimmer

Is there salt in the water? If you are just setting up and haven't added salt yet keep in mind a skimmer won't work in fresh water.

Yea the salt is in too.

Nvm got it figures out. The manufacturer pot the flow valve indicator on backwards. So i guess that's what I get for following intruction instead of instinct.
