New S. Haddoni

I just got in an S. Haddoni from LA's Diver's Den today and was wondering what the best course of action is as far as the lighting for today goes.
I acclimated him for a little over an hour via a makeshift drip-like setup. Now he's in the tank and the lights are out, but I'm wondering if I should turn the lights on in a while so he can find somewhere that he likes or whether I should let him rest for the remainder of the day before popping on the lights.
He was VERY sticky when I put him in, didn't want to let go of my hand so I have a feeling he is pretty healthy. The mouth is already starting to close up and he appears to be getting ready to start positioning himself (I'm writing this literally right after actually placing him in the tank).

I would put the lights on, I got mine from a tank with 250 halides, moved into a tank with 175's and then went to a 150hqi and t5 combo and mine has done well through it all. I fed it mysis every couple days for a few weeks when it was new but now I don't mess with it and it has been just fine, and has gotten quite massive, like large pizza size!! I have two saddleback clowns that hosted in it and I think that has helped keep it healthy, from what I have seen they seem to do better that way, not that that is something that you really have a lot of control over, but hopefully you'll have good luck with it!

I went ahead and turned the lights on. There's a small/young maroon in there all waiting to host (I hope). Poor fella has been hosting a stalk of candy cane corals for months!
