New schedule and radion acclimation mode

Well I finally took the time and effort to get off of my natural shallow reef mode schedule after some coral loss. My natural mode was at a brightness of 55% and my new schedule brightness will be 60% for now. I reduced the red and green and my thought is that these might be a little higher than I would have liked in the natural mode.

Thoughts on my schedule? The goal here will be to maintain mostly acroporas with a few LPS. Could always ramp up intensity over time.

Also I have a dumb question about the acclimation mode. Since my ending intensity will be 60% if I start my acclimation at 45% it is actually 45% correct and not 45% of 60% (ie 27%)?

Thanks guys! Good on the 45% I was hoping I wasn't going too low to begin. Went home quickly over lunch and it's amazing how things already look a lot dimmer with the lowered intensity and reduced red/green spectrums.

So a little about my setup for consistency it's a 24" x 24" x 12" shallow tank. The radion is about 9" above the water (might have to remeasure that).

Anecdotally, my SPS were not doing very well under the previous schedule and I had a stylophora coral on the sandbed almost right under one of the pucks that was bleaching fast. Since I started the new schedule the bleaching tapered off and I'm getting polyp extension which makes me feel better. The two remaining acros that I have on the sandbed are showing better PE as well. If my coral stays healthy for a little longer I will attempt adding a couple more pieces again to see how it goes. I'm pretty excited so far with the progress so I hope it keeps up.

The schedule is very blue on the bookends but I do like the color more towards midday. Basically my schedule goes from about 14-15k to 12k at midday and back to 14-15k (obviously with the reds and greens ramped down).
