New seals?

Hey guys, I recently acquired a decently used 65 Gallon glass aquarium, it's an Oceanic tank. When I picked the tank up it was running with water, so it wasn't leaking. We emptied the tank on site, and I brought it home. It needed some TLC so I created a vinegar solution and did my best to remove what was on it. I noticed that the seals on the inside look worn. I know these are not the seals that hold the tank together but keep the tank from leaking. Based on these pictures, do you recommend removing and resealing the silicone in the tank?

The bottom seals are in great condition, but I cannot say the same about the vertical seals on the edges.

The tank also has a few scratches in it, I believe a good amount were filled when it was full of water, but am I going to have a problem with algae filling those scratches and revealing them?

Any idea how old this tank is?

I dont know if you should replace the silicone or not. I would say if you have any doubt about them then you probably should. If you deicide to then you need to replace it ALL. Silicone will not adhear to dry silicone so in order to do the sides you need to do the bottom. too.

Minor scratches wont cause problems, just eye sores really. If they are deep they may get some algae in them.
