new setup

Like the title says this is my new set up. I am doing a 90 gal. with a 30 gal. sump. I am building the stand and sump by my self. Building led lighting with some help from friends. I will be running a reef keeper lite. Some equipment I am using is a ASM protein skimmer, jager heaters, marineland pump and coralife t5 light for the refuge same one for the biocube refuge. I will put it on the front glass so no more dropping the light in the water. As far as the stand goes it will be covered in oak. I do want to build a frag tank for the top left of the stand only seeing it when the door is open. Let me know what you think open to any ideas.

looks good im interested to see how it turns out! I love that we have some build threads in our little neck of the wood. sweet design man keep the pictures coming.

I like the stand nice concept. Looks like you are off to a good start. If it were me I would not hide the frag tank just another cool thing to watch along with the progress in your main system. Will it be hooked to the main system? And why not go with LED’s on the refuge? Oh ya more pics of the build and your current systems.

The frag tank will be on the same system. I may show the frag tank but it won't be as nice looking I kinda like that idea. As far as the lights on the sump goes I did not plan for the leds for it I did not order enough leds for that and the frag tank I would rather them on the frag tank. If everyone puts to gether another order then I will get more leds for the sump. I can't justify buying 100 leds for a frag tank.

The other tanks I have are just holding things for me because I took down my 75 and started building the 90. I have a 45 tank for fish and a 29 biocube for corals. I don't have pictures of the 45 I guess I can take some at some point. Here is a picture of the biocube.

Got a little done today. It's out of rough cut oak so it is taking longer than I want. Oak is free can't bet the price.

Small update. Sides are on. The top trim and trim around the tank are done. Good news I finally moved to where the tank is at so I can work on it every night after work till it is done. I moved 3 tanks and everything is doing great I was sure I was going to loose something during the move.

I have not posted my up dates lately, I have a hard time posting what I have done when I know what a lot of other people are going through. I got the stand done other than the doors. I decided to try something I have never seen before I called a sign shop and got black vinyl to stick to the side and back of the tank. I like it a lot you can't see through it, it is even unlike paint (well my paint jobs anyway). It cost less than $20 it cost me more than that to paint my old 75gal. I wired in the electric and plugged it in to the reefkeeper. It's up and running started some rock work the rest will be live rock out of three other tanks I have.
