Totally depends on what you are looking for.
Industrial looking? 2" square steel box? vs. 1" aluminum anodized or powder coated to whatever color you can think of? vs. Stainless Steel appliance? vs. Toolbox appearance with diamond plate?????? What's the application? You name it. Let your imagination run wild. Laser cutouts of fish? waves? It comes down to your budget.

i just want a steel frame that will hold the tanks weight. im going to make a plywood box i can put around the steel frame. oh and the cheaper the better (more money for the tank).

a very basic 6 foot long x 2 foot x 2 foot structure with a 2 foot angled support from the bottom of each leg to a point intersecting each 6 foot long member would require 32 feet of tubing.
If you chose 2" square structural steel tubing with .187" inch wall thickness it would be 4.3lbs per foot. Total weight of 138 lbs. I currently pay $0.78 per lb. That would mean $107.38 for the tubing at my cost. It would need to be cut, fixtured, welded, ground edges for safe handling....

ok i want the stand to be 72x18.5x32. i estimate the tank with water rock and sand will be around 1300lbs and the tank is around 150lbs so atleast 1500lb load weight should be good. do you build metal stands or could you?
