New store in Aurora?

Wow awesome. I can't find their hours on the site but I may try to swing by tomorrow and check it out.

Thanks for posting!

I went in today...they had about 9 or so saltwater tanks and the rest of the shop is freshwater. Its a pretty big store but the majority is freshwater. They said they were going to add some more salt water eventually and the fish they had in were damsels naso tangs, powder blue tangs, flame and coral beauty angels. Most of the saltwater stock was the usual suspects nothing rare but as they are new maybe that will change as they add more stock and tanks. They had a bunch of very small hippo tangs. The one thing i did notice that looked interesting was they offered bulk pellets and flake food which may save some money -Kieth

I stopped in today the CEO is Scott Kramer.

It is in the old Ace Hardware building.

The hours are Mon. - Sat. 10am - 6pm. Sun. 12pm-4pm.

Keith has given a very accurate account of the store.

The only thing to add is that they have some good deals on used tanks (40 Gal tanks for $40).

I went in. I have a place to get planted aquarium and pond livestock again. It didn't sound to me like they were adding much more salt water, but time will tell.

Took a look inside today. If you are into freshwater (like myself), this place has the potential to be the best in town. Everything looks healthy and they carry very rare stuff (like 2 tigrinus cats!). The saltwater is fish only but they all look very healthy, fat, curious and alert.

After talking with the owners, I found out that they have been the local livestock wholesaler/importer for all the LFS's in the area for the past three years. But they got tired of dealing with the LFS owners so they decided to open their doors direct to the public.

It was nice to hear that they have been in the biz for a while and know how to import stuff direct from overseas. They are also very friendly. They mentioned that they would add more saltwater as business picks up and are happy to special order any fish if it's not in stock.

^^^^ Had pretty much the same experience I did. I know the store is new but everything was clean and the fish critters looked happy. Sounds like the current plan is only going to be fish and easier corals, nothing fancy. He has salt and a few skimmers but not a bunch of stuff that I noticed. He did say he has 2 other brands of salt on the way.

I stopped by today and don't think I'll be buying fish from them anytime soon. They all looked unhealthy, the water quality looked very murkey and to top it all off there wasnt any customer service whatsoever. Even after I had asked. I don't think I'll be contributing my $$$ there. Just my opinion.
