Today I picked up Cbuttiker's 12 AquaPod and his 20 gal setup, thats a sweet little package, 20 gal drilled with a 5 gal sump, CPR backpack skimmer, mag 7 return (overkill maybe) and a little 2 ft PC fixture. I built a stand for the sump to lift it up so that I could hide the skimmer under the DT stand and hang the Cpr in there so its not hanging on the back of the tank... the fun part is coming... I am going to section off the 5 gal sump and turn it in to a mini refugium so that I can throw some cheato and rock rubble in there for a little pod factory.... so a 5 gal sum/refugium/skimmer area so that the only thing showing is the tank on the stand.... shoud be a sweet little set up once I am done... I will post pictures of progress soon... see what happens when the wife heads to pittsburgh for a day... Dont people usually get bigger tanks when they upgrade... from a 90 RR AgA to a 20 and a 12..

Some shots... tank was unpainted before, I have a picture of that but who really cares.... Set it up for a leak test and all was cool.
The 20 tank is drilled with 2 bulkheads for the overflow and return...

And here is a shot of the Mini Sump/ Refugium...

The CPR BackPak came with the package but I dont want that thing hanging on the back of the tank. So I made a little stand for the 5 gal sump to lift it up so that I could hang the skimmer in there and keep it out of sight. I also put a baffle in there so that I could fill it with some sand an LR for critters to make babys in. I still need to make a little chamber for the overflow in line so that it wont splash everywhere when it hits the sump.... All in all I think this is a neat little project....
