I have my new sump up and running in the basement,for right now the pump is just circulating the water around the sump.I have live rock to put in it that has been curing for over a year,so here's the question how should I go about connecting the sump to the tank as far as cycling is concerned.Should I cycle it like a separate tank and then hook them together,also I don't have a skimmer in the sump as of right now.Sorry if this post sounds a little confusing but I just want to be sure as the sump is 160 gallons going to a 180 and don't want to cause anything to crash.
